I , Obama and Ambition

After a gap here I am once again on my blog site. Wow...this is actually amazing when I get time to write something about certain things about which others are completely oblivious.
Today, I am going to write in brief a little about my visit to my Grandparents' place and my views on Barack Hussain Obama.

I had been on a trip...to be with my Grandparents for a few days...i simply love them..
reminded me of my childhood days....when I saw my cutie pie niece imitating so well ..she is like me in many ways....i wish her loads of happiness...
And with me again its the same routine...meeting people, talking to them, everyday..its the same..phew...but finally I am happy that I am reaching somewhere...on my pro front, things are shaping faster now..which is a good sign as i had enough of waiting.

Like today, Obama won the Presidential campaign and became the 1st African-American President of USA....Great moment...A big change...And the whole world is watching...
For the first time I have witnessed in my life, a person who could transcend beyond race, creed, color, and boundaries. He is a leader, politician, visionary, statesman, impeccable orator, and has a approach that touches the masses. He is the President of masses....not just another Democrat taking oath at the Oval.... He has acted as a catalyst to bring back the hidden desire of everyone (not just an American), ....the desire for change..His slogan..."Yes, We can" has become synonymous to "Do or Die" laid by the Mahatma years back...

The entire wolrd had its eyes on this mega campaign...Obama's victory was assured despite of McCain's strong force behind him......it was a result of great planning, strategically built policies and strong belief.

Many things will change from now....many global issues will come on surface..Global recession, Terrorism, Indo-Nuclear deal, Outsourcing and Visa Issues, Global warming..and much more..

Coming days will tell more about how things move from here...Any change is welcomed moreso when it is so positive and so much wanted.It sends a signal across the globe how elections can influence people and how people play a major role in deciding their future, their country's future.

But what about me? What am I doing here....I want to make it big for myself...sooner or later something wonderful is going to happen with me as well...Words become meaningless if not transformed into actions....so I have geared up myself to do what I want from my life...so, right now, even if I don't get the kind of job I want, I will use it as a ladder to reach where I want to be in future...

I will not waste time and energy on stupid things...No no no..I will make it big one day...and the day is going to come soon....yeah need to preserve this craving....

MAHATMA GANDHI vs CHE GUEVARA

Mahatma Gandhi - Our Father of the nation...We all know about him, through our History books, from movies like Gandhi and Lage Raho Munnabhai..and also from our own jugdement......I draw inspiration from him..not completely but in certain ways....
His famous quotes -

"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."

"There are many causes that I am prepared to die for but no causes that I am prepared to kill for."

Now, lets mover further to another hero, another visionary....

Che Guevara - We know him as a heroic figure, the new man of the 20th century .....
Ernesto (Che) Guevara de la Serna ,nickname "Che" derived from Guevara's habit of punctuating his speech with the interjection che, a common Argentine expression for a friend .

We have heard about Che but don't know much about him..So here is an attempt to portray this Latin American revolutionary leader, who rejected both capitalism and orthodox Soviet communism.

He is a cultural symbol, an icon ..a symbol of freedom..and has a cult following.
An intellectual and an idealist, was able to speak coherently about Aristotle, Kant, Marx, or Faulkner.... he also loved poetry...

It was this great sensitivity to injustice that forged his political views and led him to distrust imperialism, specifically the American government.
Che Guevara was executed in Vallegrande. He was 39 years old. The circumstances surrounding his death have added to his mystique. He was taken to an old school house and was tied to a board. Che Guevara’s alleged last words to the firing squad were "Shoot, coward, you are only going to kill a man".

Many people have documented his life through books and movies....However I have seen only one and that is The Motorcycle Diaries...the journey of his early years, his encounters with different beliefs, his transformation from a medical student to a revolutionay.

He had no military training and yet he used guerrilla warfare to execute his strategies....so well !

Though I am inspired by Gandhian philosophy in someway and Che's ideologies differ from the former, yet both had something in common.

The desire for liberty, passion for their people, sacrificing life for a greater cause...bind the two leaders of their times together in one common thread of being an iconic figure...their means to achieve the goals were different but motive was the same..
Both started their movement with a confusion regarding intellect and practical theories. Moved on to become tacticians, planners and statesmen.

Many people believe that revolutions emerge by merely picking up the gun...but its not true...its the idea that strikes and the person who ignites it and executes well becomes the leader of the masses.
